Apologies in advance because I am likely asking something that it is a bit ignorant.
The past month or so I've been playing around with Stremio and Kodi trying to get my optimum step using Real Debrid & Easy News. Primarly what I am after is easy access to as much much content as possible, with minimal buffering (which is what I am sure we are all after!).
My primary device is a 2019 Shield Pro, hardwired over ethernet with speeds of around 600mb, so I don't think hardware of internet should be too much of a limiting factor.
Getting Stremio to work as intended is the ideal solution for me, because I love how easy it is to transfer and use on other devices, the customisation aspect of Kodi isn't a deal breaker.
The issue I have with Stremio is that it seems to struggle with playing any remux files. It usually refuses to load. I have hardware acceleration enabled, and I also have tried using Vimu as an external player with the tunnelling enabled, and neither seems to work. When I try to play the same movie on Kodi (with the same file type) it seems to work just fine.
My main problem with Kodi is I seem to be having issues with some of the adding, my setup is FenLightAm, Cocoscrapers & Otaku (for anime). The addons just seem intermittent for me, I get occasional boots back to the main menu, sometimes the episodes skip to the next in the series, and the up next pop up doesn't always show.
I don't suppose anyone has any suggestions on what I could tweak to try and get Stremio working, or any likely fixes for Kodi?
