Switch off the firewall on a EE Hub - How to?

Hi all so just had EE broadband package renewed and they've sent the new EE smart Hub plus, does any one have any idea how to switch off the firewall on this thing. Theyve taken away the off button so can't do it manually...thanx all

Hi nope already tried that, it's now default on and no switch to turn it off...anyone got round it??

I had a look on Reddit and there doesn’t seem to be a solution.
Hopefully someone on here knows a way.

Hi yes if u have problems with IPTV or need to check things switching off the firewall 9 times out of 10 fixes the problem....can't do that now

That normally just comes under content filters

Isn't ee done via the app now?

Looks like they have made it so you can’t turn firewall off.
You may need to get your own router unless there is an actual way of disabling it that I haven’t found. I only looked on EE forums and Reddit.
