Van shelves squeaking

Just got a new van and the shelves are attached to bulkhead with 3 self tapping screws. There squeaking away when driving, have tried tightning and loosing, removing screws nothing seems to help. Any ideas driving me mad.

You could loosen, apply a thin bead of silicone at every point the shelves touch anything, then tighten up.

Rubber washers between shelf and bulkhead might help

As mentioned bit of silicone or some rubber washers should prevent the squeak other than that take pieeaters advice and turn radio up lol

its the wood squeaking on the metal bulkhead only thing you can do it put something between the bulkhead and shelving like carpet Anthracite Grey 4 Way Stretch Camper Van Lining Conversion Carpet Trim: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike

Rubber washers all day long had the same problem on a mk1 ford focus pedal box creaking all the time just put a slit in them and fed them around the bolts with a layer of silicone grease and no more creaking

Am starting to doubt whether it is the shelves. Only happens if im turning right on a roundabout or over the odd speed bump. Its like someone playing a horn in the rear of the van. Its a transit custom would a rear diff cause this noise.

a worn out belt can cause squeaking when going round corners, that would be coming from under the bonnet though, you sure its not that?

Its coming from the rear. Its like a howling sound or as if something was rubbing but really loud.

Could be the rear wheel bearing with the sounds of it amongst a few other things including a broken coil spring a loose door latch etc .
if possible get someone in the back to try and pinpoint where the noise is coming from ok

Easy done don't turn right on a roundabout go straight over them lol and instead of speed bumps mount pavement where there's no pedestrians obviously
