I don't use Firestick, but I got one for my folks and my sister to use Stremio.
Can anyone confirm if Stremio still works on Firestick post update? I'm preparing myself for the phonecall/message from family that stuff isn't working anymore.

I watched firestick 4k max last night running stremio no problem. Haven't checked for updates. But my sticks used daily. Will let you know if any problems arise, but so far all good 👍

I have seen VLC being offloaded on some devices today, as per the new update.

Updated flixvision app keeps getting blocked but the old version still works at min if you dont click on update 🫵🫵🫵🫵🫵🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

VLC can be downloaded from Amazon so why would that disappear ?

You must turn off a new setting on your Firestick Privacy settings.

Go to :

Settings - Preferences - Privacy - Setting - Manage Sharing From Apps.

TURN THIS OFF - otherwise Amazon will know what IPTV apps and other sideloaded apps you are Using.

While you are in the privacy section:
Turn OFF
Cookies
Device usage Data
Collect App usage Data
Internet Based Ads
