Connection problem

Hi all. I have a zgemma h9 twin satellite. I have IPTV and freesat my problem is if I’m watching iptv and then try to watch freesat i loose the satellite and have to reboot it to watch satellite tv anyone got any ideas

Just out of interest can you go into the channel list not the bouquet list and select a channel such as aljazeera and if it does not clear quickly try an 2nd channel?
It might be that it thinks the tuner is not free selecting the 2nd channel may clear it.

I don't how modern your box is but can you run an addon like xstreamity where all the iptv is held within the addon.

Yes I’ve got xstreamity installed but the epg in xstreamity is a bit naff so I only use it to watch new movies

tell me image and version you have in zgemma I use Bouquetmaker for iptv and openvix 6.6 on a uno4kse but have a zgemma h7s for experimental purposes.

I’m using open atv 6.4. With whooshbuild

thats a very old image and may be your problem. Are you any good at flashing(oops) I mean receivers. But before you do can you try the zap or history function, go bbc1 then an iptv then press the button on left hand side above back and it should show you the 2 channels go BBC1 and see if that works. If not you have to say how you watch iptv when not using xstreamity.

Yes I’ve tried newer images but the catch-up channels do not work. The zap history button does not solve the problem. I have Jedi maker xstream

Jedi is no more. What you should do is flash a brand new image to another partition and I would use openvix 6.7 then ise Kiddacs Bouquetmaker for iptv. Set up ABM for the sats etc. When all done and you still have the same problem your could post on WOS.

Or you could try williobuild and get support on here from willow. How old is that zgemma, not good to keep power cycling.

Why openvix , he may be used to openatv

Why would catch up channels not work on newer images you are still using same iptv provider.
with bouquet maker xtream you select catchup channels from tv guide channel list

I don’t know why catch-up doesn’t work on newer images but I’ve tried all atv images up to 7.2 beta non of them let me use catch-up but it does work on openatv6.4 with whooshbuild

openatv7.2 is not a new image it is (EOL) end of life same as 6.4 latest stable one is 7.5.1 and 7.6 beta , the catchup screen i posted is from 7.5.1

Just to say Openvix when setup is easy peasy and works and has a dedicated support site. Openatv..... went downhill after 6.4.
