I'm a complete newbie to these boxes, but big thumbs up to you wooshman this guide is fantastic, so easy to follow and understand

I only had issues when it came to running your batch file for the Line transfer, but soon found out, like others this was happening because I was on WiFi, as soon as I went via network cable it was flawless

Thanks very much

I am not sure what the cause of this is as I always use wireless for all of my building and also transferring of my line without any issue. Maybe it is a network thing?
*sigh* ;)

right... simple way to add to your favourites bouquets is to use openwebif.
get your ip address of your box. menu..information...network.
type this in your computers address bar. i.e 192.168.0.1 (replace with yours)
at the bottom left of openwebif you will see Bouquet editor. click it.
Top left panel select all channels.
In the top right panel select favorites.
then in bottom left panel select the channels you want and click add to channels bouquet. (you can ctrl click to select multiple channels)

alternatively do it the hard way. Press tv button. In all channels navigate to your channel you want in favourites. press menu. add service to bouquet. select favourites.

note this favourites bouquet is not the same as the favourites blue button. This just tends to show all your bouquets.

I told you he was like Mr Benn, as if by magic the shop keeper appeared. I also said he would know the answer.

Top man, thanks Kiddac

I am getting slyk 1 just above the info bar for every channel. I have been messing but anyone tell me what I have done please? Otherwise everything appears fine.

Newbie brilliant guide ! I've got the box flashed running great on the normal channels. I'm struggling with FileZilla to load the file to put the lines into it is there another thread which gives me some more details on it ?

thanks again

I didn't get this process at first but worked it out

  • copy your line into the folder 'put line in here' on your desktop
  • if it asks to overwrite the file already in there, click yes
  • double click the line installer batch file
  • you will get a black dialogue box come up, when it's finished close box

then follow Whooshmans instructions from there

hope that helps

You have either not installed the picons or installed the wrong ones.

Read step 8 and follow that, be careful to install "srp-full.400x240-370x210.light.on.transparent" as stated and not "snp-full.400x240-370x210.light.on.transparent".

Just not working for me on zgemma star s. The correct file not there..... I've given up lol

I've been given two lines which I've been told is needed to allow me to record one channel while watching another. How do I install both? I have two seperate CCam.cfg files, do I just copy the details of both into one file and transfer it to the box?

Thanks.

I did install the correct ones and they were working at one time. I did read step 8 again and followed that again but still the same problem.

Reverse the process and uninstall any picons you have installed. Green button, red button, picons and uninstall them all. Then personally I delete the picon folder from my usb device.

Once done restart you box. Then start the process again. See if that helps.

Failing that it is a thread for picon issues and not in here. Kiddac has a thread about picons which is where the instructions came from.

You don't need two lines to record one channel and watch another. You just need a twin tuner (like the Zgemma h.2s) if you have two lines you could use it like sly multi-room but need a 2nd box of course

I'm still having problems with my swap file. I've gone back to the start and reflashed the box. Initialised the USB following the instructions in step 1. When I go through step 2 and click "Create" I get a message saying "Sorry, no physical devices that support SWAP attached. Can't create swapfile on network or Fat32 filesystems"
I've been through the reflash and initialise steps about 5 times now. Its driving me nuts. Any ideas?!?

Cheers. Maybe I confused the guy when saying what I wanted. Got two lines now.

People, this is not a thread for general advice. This is a build thread with full instructions on how to install it. Please take other issues into your own threads.

After a little while Buckham sorted it!

Finally you have done it. Yes you did a re-flash but think of the brownie points you will get from the missus.

Hi Just a quick question so I understand this correctly. I have all my line files correct in the folder on my laptop. The Line_installer bat file will automatically transfer relevant files from my laptop over the network and onto the zgemma h2s into the correct location, I don't need the ip address of the box etc? Thanks

It sounds so simple but yes your newcamd file contains your line details and a double click on the install bat puts in the line you will briefly and quickly see a small black screen come on your laptop whilst its doing its work, its worked every time for me, good luck.
